WHAT IS VEX IQ?
In the VEX IQ Challenge, students are provided a themed game and kit, challenged with fun, open-ended robotics, and given research project challenges to enhance skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
BENEFITS
Students in VEX IQ not only learn skills in STEM, but also learn skills such as teamwork, management, critical thinking, and communication. Along with collaboration and professionalism taught in competitions, students are well prepared to become the next generation of innovators.
DETAILS
This year's game is played on a 4' x 8' field. The Teamwork Challenge is where two robots work together to score points. The Robot Skills Challenge is solo. The challenge has two matches - driving skills and programming skills (autonomous). Watch the video to learn more!
